We have changed the layout and style of the site, check it out. I believe things look much better now. They certainly work better because we've fixed some design flaws and issues present in the previous incarnation.
Alternate styles support is also in the works, even now you can try it out in Firefox (View -> Page style).

Fixed compatibility issues, the extension now works on Firefox 3 too.
